William Hartley Obituary

William Patrick Hartley, 70, residing in Port Clinton, passed away Wednesday morning, July 27, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo.  

William was born on June 14, 1952, to the late Helen (Rice) Hartley and Earl Hartley.  

William’s family moved numerous times and he held various jobs including being a store associate at Kroger and being a skilled drywaller. He had many hobbies that brought him joy, but his favorites were traveling and fishing.  

William is survived by 2 daughters, Kristy (Christopher) Sosack and Jada (Robert) Gill; 5 grandchildren; sister, Sue (Harry) Raneri; 2 brothers, John (Paulette) Hartley and Lee Hartley, and girlfriend, Ruth Tettau. 

In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by 2 sons, William Hartley and Joey Hartley, and 2 sisters, Dorothy Clapper and Carol (John) Junkins.  

William’s wishes were to be cremated and scattered near the water. Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
