Wayne A. Pylant

Wayne A. Pylant,75, of New London, died Monday, January 10, 2022, at Mercy Health, Willard Hospital.  He was born September 9, 1946, in Camp Kilmer, NJ to the late Martha (Geer) and RV Pylant.  A graduate of Norwalk High School, Class of 1965, Wayne was a life member (1966-2016) with the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers.  He was also a life member of NRA, Fitchville Conservation Club, former district 7 administrator of Little League baseball and former president of New London Little League.  He genuinely enjoyed his time with little league and his other hobbies included hunting, fishing, antiquing, hot wheels and Johnny Lightning cars, and woodworking.    

Wayne is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sandra (Williams) Pylant; 3 sons, Robert “Chip” Pylant, of New London, William “Pug” Pylant, of Collins, and Richard Pylant of New London; 2 daughters, Christina Muscaro, of Georgia and Sherry Boyd, of Michigan; 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Justin Ley.    

At Wayne’s request, no services will be held. Memorial Contributions may be directed to Fitchville Conservation League, 2623 Jennings Road, New London, OH 44851.  The staff of Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W.
