Walter H. “Butch” Eastman Jr., 72, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2020 at Fisher Titus Medical Center. He was born on June 18, 1947 in Sandusky to the late Walter H. (Sr.) and Rose C. (Vassallo) Eastman.
Butch served his country as part of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He had worked for West Baking Company and Wikel Bulk Express before retiring from Cedar Point in 2007.
Butch enjoyed fishing, bowling and casinos.
Survivors include his children, Thomas Eastman Sr., Travis C. Blystone, Bryan K. Eastman Sr. and Susan Waldrom; 14 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; siblings, Michael (Vickie) Eastman, Bill (Diane) Eastman, Don Eastman, Karen Reddix and Donna (Rick) Sexton; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Walter was preceded in death by his late wife, Linda (Wilson) Eastman; daughter, Shawnetta Eastman; daughter in-law, Christine Eastman and sister in-law, Mary Eastman.
