Tracey was known for her uncanny ability to make friends with everyone that crossed her path. Her engaging personality and beautiful smile would light up a room. Her quick wit and sense of humor was enjoyed by many. Tracey’s beautiful singing voice was recognized locally and nationally in singing competitions and she served as a cantor for the Catholic church.
As a 1985 graduate of New London High School, New London, Ohio, Tracey was involved in many choral concerts, played violin, and was a cheerleader. She excelled at home decorating and was a successful realtor for Keller Williams Bluegrass Realty, where she spent many happy years with her former husband, David Carey, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan!
We would like to thank the wonderful staff at Mercy ICU in Amherst and New Life Hospice for their attentive care of Tracey. We extend our deepest appreciation to Roger Dorsey of the Buckeye Bulldog Rescue, for continuing care of Tracey’s great joy, her dog Zola. “Zola the English Bulldog”, garnered thousands of followers on her own Facebook page.
