Thomas Henry Murowsky, 69, of Wellington, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, surrounded by his family. Tom was born August 17, 1951, son of the late Henry & JoAnn (Gagliardo) Murowsky.
He is survived by his loving wife Kathleen (Dragan), his dedicated son Patrick, his adoring daughter Anne Frazier, and his devoted son-in-law Allen Frazier, Jr. Also surviving: his brother James (Laura), sisters Joy Otten (Bobby), Gail Murowsky, Karen Kocin (Philip), Julie Volinski (the late John); he was the fun uncle to 16 nieces, 12 nephews, 16 great-nephews, and 15 great-nieces; employer of George Quinn III, Scott Mitchell, Leonard Dunmyre, Walter Opfer Jr., Erik Aslaksen, Michael Sekula, Todd Van Thoor, William Rabatsky, Justin Bingham, and John Volinski.
Tom served his country honorably in the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army, also as a Green Beret. Tom was a SCUBA diver, pilot, wildlife photographer, marksman, entrepreneur, mentor, builder, problem solver, mechanic, role model, and prankster. He enjoyed camping, grilling, history, the American West, telling funny stories, long drives, feeding the birds, music, and – most of all – his family.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, January 24, 2021 from 1-3 pm and 5-7 pm at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main Street, Wellington. A service will be held on Monday at 11 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 512 N. Main Street, Wellington. Burial will follow with military honors at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brookpark. Social distancing guidelines will be enforced and masks will be required.
