Steven R. Witter

Steven R. Witter, of Monroeville, Ohio, passed away peacefully doing what he loved, sitting in his blind in the woods, on November 29, 2021. He was 65. Steve was born on July 5, 1956, in Norwalk to the late Richard and Gildes (Stang) Witter. He graduated from Monroeville High School in 1974 and later Tiffin University. Steve had worked for Whirlpool for 33 years.

He truly enjoyed outdoor life, trapping, hunting and fishing, and also playing euchre. He was a member of the Isaak Walton League, Monroeville American Legion Post 547 and Bellevue Eagles #490.

Steve is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Shirley (Dickman) Witter; daughter, Angie (Kyle) Horn; stepson, Eric (Renee) Dickman; grandchildren, Galvin, Max and Zachary Horn, Erica (Chris) Bores and Matthew Dickman; sister, Sue; and great grandchildren, A.J., Connor, Brodi, Ethan and Blair.
