Stacey Lee Mundy

Stacey Lee Mundy, 51, of Norwalk, Ohio passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021. She was born on January 28, 1970 to Martha (Kozak) and Gary Mayer.  

Stacey was a 1988 graduate of St. Paul Catholic High School. She married the love of her life, Eric Mundy, April 6, 1991 and had two beautiful children together. She began working for Village Market when she was 16 in 1986 and made a career there for nearly 35 years. Stacey was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and the Eagles #711. She enjoyed traveling – especially to the Dominican Republic, Cancun, and Jamaica – visiting Amish Country, going to wineries, and playing cards with friends. Stacey loved being with her family and friends.  

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Eric Mundy; children, Michael Mundy and Meghan Mundy; grandchildren, Brady Fritz; mother, Martha Mayer; siblings, Jodi (Craig) Conklin and Nicole (Tom) Phillips; siblings-in-law, Danny Mundy Jr. and Patty (Aaron) Hauler; mother-in-law, Sandy Mundy; God parents, Sharon and Dick Gross; and many other family and friends.  

Stacey was preceded in death by her father, Gary Mayer; father-in-law, Danny Mundy; and grandparents, James and Rosella Kozak and Frank and Lucille Mayer. 

Her family will receive friends on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio 44857. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 East Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio 44857.
