Shirley Ann Burris, 90, of Monroeville, passed away peacefully, Thursday evening, September 8, 2022.
Shirley was born on November 7, 1931, in Beach City, OH, to the late Ethel (Bartlett) Taylor and William Taylor.
Shirley was a dedicated employee everywhere she worked. She was a nurse’s aide at the Ohio Veterans Home and a housekeeper at the Great Wolf Lodge. Shirley was a faithful member of the Mount Harvest Church of God in Milan. In her spare time, Shirley enjoyed picnics, family gatherings, and listening to Jimmy Swaggart. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by people. Shirley loved to be social and host people at her home.
Shirley is survived by her 4 children, Joe (Sue) Dickman of Tennessee, Steve (Louise) Dickman of North Monroeville, Shirley Witter of Monroeville, and Sam (Joni) Burris of Milan; 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, and sister, Bonnie Hehrer of Norwalk.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her first husband, John Dickman; second husband, Sanford Burris, and 5 siblings.
