Peggy Jane McGinn 

January 8, 1940 – January 19, 2022 

Peggy Jane McGinn, 82, of Monroeville, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at home with her loving family by her side.  

Peggy was born on January 8, 1940 in Norwalk, OH to the late Ed and Lucille (Nugent) Dillingham.  

Peggy was a 1958 graduate of Monroeville High School and worked at Fanny Farmer’s for a handful of years. Most of her years were spent as a loving homemaker to her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed gambling, casino trips and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  

Peggy is survived by her loving children, Thomas McGinn of Bellevue, Theresa McGinn of Monroeville, Steven (Kathy) McGinn of Norwalk and Lori (Craig) Sergeant of Monroeville; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and sisters, Shirley (Jack) Bores of Monroeville and Nancy Schnee of Monroeville.  

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore “Ted” McGinn, who passed away in 2019; son, Jeffery McGinn; brothers, James and Chuck Dillingham and sister, Doris Kessler.  

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 11 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemtery in Monroeville.
