Paul Arden Beck

Paul Arden Beck, age 82, of Norwalk, died peacefully on November 12, 2023 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk. He was born December 16, 1940 in Norwalk and graduated from Norwalk High School in 1958. He would remain a Norwalk resident for the entirety of his life.

Having served in the United States Army after high school graduation, Paul was a proud veteran. He worked for Norwalk Furniture for nearly forty years as a truck driver before his retirement. After retirement, he began driving the ambulette for North Central EMS. He enjoyed being able to serve his community by transporting his neighbors throughout the community.

Along with his wife, Susan (Shultz), whom he wed in August of 1986, he enjoyed traveling on his motorcycles; they would take many road trips, exploring the country near and far. Paul also enjoyed spending time at the shooting range with his family. He liked shooting guns and teaching gun safety to those he cared most about.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Susan, of Norwalk; a daughter, Michelle (Jeffery) Ward of Toledo; three step-children, Robin (Kirk) Jagow, Robert (Yanta) Stepp, and Brian Stepp; a sister, Ruth Ann McDaniels of Memphis, TN; a granddaughter and great-grandson, Darrian Tolliver; granddaughter Paige N. Beck; and other nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a son, Tod Allen Beck; and brother, Dale Beck.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation for Paul on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, OH 44857.
