It is with great sadness that the family of Michelle A. Brennan (nee Wendling) announces her passing on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, age 44, at University Hospital Elyria after a lengthy battle with cancer. Michelle was born on Aug. 6, 1975 in Avon Lake, Ohio and was a graduate of Elyria High Class of 1994 and Lorain County Community College. She lived in LaGrange, Ohio and was employed by the Oberlin Walmart for many years. Michelle loved the outdoors including hiking, bicycling and kayaking. Her favorite pastime was geocaching and she was proud of being able to visit all 48 lower states in the pursuit of the caches.
Michelle was preceded in death by her mother, Kathleen Bowen (nee McGee), maternal grandparents Richard and Delores McGee, and paternal grandparents Roy and Bernadette Wendling.
She is survived by her children Breanna and Aidan, sisters Carolyn Wendling of Norwalk and Alexis Mcglocklin (Matt) of Homerville, father Michael Wendling (Susan) of Wellington, stepdad Dave Bowen, companion Jeremiah Harshman, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral arrangements and cremation will be handled by the Norton- Eastman Funeral Home in Wellington. Ohio. Due to the COVID19 pandemic a memorial service will be held at a later date. Condolences for Michelle’s family can be given at: www.norton-eastmanfuneralhome.com.
