Michael Chuhaloff, 86, of Greenwich, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at his hiome in Greenwich. Born to the late Michael and Mary (nee Grabowski) Chuhaloff on January 12, 1935 in Mansfield, Ohio.
He attended Mansfield Senior High School. Mike retired in 1988 after driving truck for 34 years for the same company. The company changed names three times, first it was Allstates, then PIE (Pacific Intermountain Express), lastly it was Ryder/P.I.E., but Mike stayed with the company and the job that he loved. He and his beloved wife, Ristie moved to Florida in 1988 and Mike began work in 1989 as the head golf cart mechanic for Sandridge Golf Course, Vero Beach, FL. Proudly retiring after 20 years of service, with a fleet of 150 golf carts in his care, another job he truly loved and took pride in.
Besides his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brother John Chuhaloff of Ashland, Ohio in 1982, daughter-in-law Deborah Chuhaloff of Dove Canyon, CA in 1995 and step-son Vincent Burling of Vero Beach, FL in 2018.
Besides his wife of 46 years, Ristie, he leaves behind four sons, Michael and Luann Chuhaloff of Melbourne, FL, Mark Chuhaloff of Jackson, TN, Scott and Kristy Chuhaloff of Ladera Ranch, CA and Steve and Marlene Chuhaloff of Millsap, TX; step-son Anthony and Linda Burling of Augusta, KY and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Grove Street Cemetery in New London, Ohio with Rev. Gary Adkins officiating. Eastman Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
