Marvelle J. Storrow

Marvelle J. Storrow, 92, of Wellington, died Saturday, November 11, 2023 at University Hospitals Elyria Memorial Hospital in Elyria. Born on November 14, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Nellie (nee Young) Baker. Marvelle was a graduate of Brighton High School and lived in the Wellington area most of her life.

Marvelle worked for the attorney office of Harrison Comstock for over 25 years and then for Sponseller insurance. She attended the Wellington First United Methodist Church for many years. Marvelle enjoyed camping with her family and could often be found on the mower tending her lawn.

Marvelle is survived by her children; Robert “Bob” (Marie) Storrow, of Wellington, William “Bill” Storrow, of Mansfield, and Donna Storrow, of Wellington; grandchildren, Holly, Kristen, and Lacey; great-grandchildren, Anson and Lylah Leemaster; and a brother, Ronald Baker. She was preceded in death by her husband Norman Storrow; great-grandson Bryson Peterson; and siblings Harold Baker, Gilman Baker, and Muriel McClaflin

A private family service will be held on Tuesday November 21, at 11 a.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, Rev. Hyeran Yu will officiate and burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Rochester. Donations in Marvelle’s memory, if desired, may be made to either the Wellington First United Methodist Church, 127 Park Place, Wellington, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
