Kenneth Cherry Obituary

Kenneth W. Cherry, 63, of North Fairfield, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Willard.   He was born November 12, 1956 in Willard, Ohio, son of the late Paul W. and Maxine (Boggs) Cherry.   Kenneth was a lifelong resident of the North Fairfield area.  Kenneth worked in the construction industry.  He loved to ride motorcycles.  

He is survived by his wife, Lynee S. Cherry, whom he married in 1996;  his children, Bobby Arthur  and Misty Cherry both of Mansfield; 2 stepsons, Curtiss (Stephanie) Bannworth and Dustin (Teresa) Bannworth; several grandchildren, 2 step grandsons and several great grandchildren; his siblings, Elena Zarate, Jeralane Vidarin, Dorla Risch, Paul Cherry; half brother, John Kruse;  half sisters, Beth Filson, Paula Hahn, brother in law, Tim (Alice) Thompson, sister in law, Gail (Tim) Rhine.   Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and by his son, Anthony Kenneth Cherry.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the Graveside Service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 24, 2020 at the North Fairfield Cemetery.   Paul Cherry, Kenneth’s nephew will officiate the service.  COVID-19 guidelines will be observed.   Eastman Funeral Home, Greenwich were entrusted with the arrangements.   Online condolences may be made at:  www.eastmanfuneralhome.com
