Helen Leber Privett, 89, of Norwalk, passed from this life February 4, 2020 in Gaymont Nursing Home. Helen was artistic, had a green thumb and loved to sew. She especially enjoyed her weekly bible study and seeing her family.
Helen was born on a farm in Monroeville, Ohio to Clayton and Martha Janet (Baker) Leber on June 3, 1930. She worked at Barney’s Restaurant, Fanny Farmer and was retired from the custodial staff at Fisher Titus Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alva Privett in 1988, her parents and three siblings, Alice, Robert Leber and Karl Leber. One siser, Shirley Schalk and her sister-in-law Kathleen Leber and several nieces and nephews survive.
Helen was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Norwalk. Private graveside services will be held by the family at a later date. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting www.walkereastmanheydingerfh.com.
