Frances McKay

Frances “Fran” (Leroux) McKay, 69, of Norwalk, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 20, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on May 14, 1951 in Norwalk, Ohio to the late Anthony Michael and Edna Mary (Monica) Leroux.  Fran was born and raised in Norwalk and attended Norwalk High School. 

She enjoyed flower gardening, horses and horseback riding, breeding dogs and birds, raising huskies and cherished time with her family.  Fran had worked for New Horizons Baking Company from 1982-1990.   

Survivors include her children, Monica McKay of Columbus, Ohio and Donald McKay of Norwalk, Ohio; loving companion, Norman Biller of Norwalk, Ohio; grandchildren, Deven McKay of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Kyle McKay and Alexys Jones of Norwalk, Ohio; siblings, Edward (Lisa) Leroux, Joseph (Cathy) Leroux, Michael (Rita) Leroux, Mary (Robert) Sweet and Margaret (Chester) Gibson, all of Norwalk.   

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Diane Perry and Carol Meyer, brother, Richard Leroux and nephew, Timothy Leroux. 

A memorial visitation will be held at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio 44857 on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 11 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1 p.m.  Visitors are reminded to bring and wear a mask and follow all current mass gathering guidelines. An inurnment is being planned for a later date in St. Paul Catholic Cemetery, Norwalk.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Fran’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Friends and those unable to attend are encouraged to share online memories and condolences by visiting www.walkereastmanheydingerfh.com .
