Obituary
Born August 8, 1956, “Beth” passed away on September 13, 2023 after a prolonged illness.
Beth enjoyed spending time with her friends on the New London Quilt Guild, planting in the garden, and above all else spending time with family. Whether found in the kitchen, the back deck, grandkids cross country events or at a fish hatchery, Beth could always be counted on as “teacher, problem solver, artist, and friend” to everyone around her and took every opportunity to spend as much time as possible watching her family grow together.
Preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Dale Turner of Wellington, Ohio, she is survived by her husband Thomas Murphy of New London after 48 years of marriage. Additionally survived by her daughter Anne Santana of New London and son and daughter-in-law John and Kit (Hartman) Murphy of Wellington. She is the proud grandmother to Thomas and Noah Santana. Sister to “Bill” Turner, Marion Krile, Chris Turner, Mark Turner, Laura Fratus, and Katy Tome, and the cast of “outlaws” … Sharon, Sandy, David, Jody, Sharon, John, and Craig; Pam and Paul Workman. Aunt to many and friend to all.
