Douglas Eugene Montoney 

June 6, 1956 – November 26, 2021 

Douglas Eugene Montoney, 65, of Wellington, OH, passed away peacefully Friday evening, November 26, 2021 at Welcome Nursing Home in Oberlin. 

Doug was born on June 6, 1956 in Oberlin, OH to the late Earl and Janette (Miller) Montoney.  

Doug graduated from Wellington High School as a member of the class of 1974 and was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was a dedicated employee for Ford Motor Company for 15 years. In his spare time, Doug enjoyed camping and watching sports, especially the Cleveland Browns.  

Doug is survived by 3 siblings, Donna Pflaum of Wellington, Dan (Tina) Montoney of Wellington and Don (Wendy) Montoney of Grafton and 2 nieces, 1 nephew and other loving relatives.  

Doug was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Ron Pflaum.  

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 11 am until the time of funeral services at 12 pm at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington, OH 44090. Cremation and burial will take place at a later date.
