David Wireman, 73, of Norwalk, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 10, 1947 to the late Tennesse (Ingram) and Charlie Wireman.
He married the love of his life, Ina (Burnem) Wireman in 1966. David worked for West Baking (now New Horizons) from 1972 until his retirement in 2011. He was a member of the Maple City Church of God in Norwalk, Ohio. He enjoyed gospel music, fishing, tinkering, and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, infinity! David is very loved and will be greatly missed.
David is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ina (Burnem) Wireman; children, Lisa Allen, Theresa (Joe) Whatmore, David D. (Diane Morrison) Wireman, Chuck Wireman, Joshua (Annette) Wireman, Elizabeth (Jerry) Collins, and his grandson, Monty Wireman, who he raised as his own; grandchildren, Bonnie, Kellie, Brittany, Anastasia, Summer, Skylar, Seth, Harper, Paige, Mallory, and Eli; seven great-grandchildren; and siblings, Eva Wolfgang, Della Kidd, Tom Wireman, Sue Brock, and Jane Lowery.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his daughter, Dawn Marie Wireman; granddaughter, Tia Marie Napier; and siblings, Edd Wireman, Charlene Conley, Bill Wireman, and Highley Caldwell.
His family will receive friends on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Maple City Church of God, 79 East Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio 44857. His service will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Maple City Church of God, with burial at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Visitors are required to bring and wear a mask or face covering and are encouraged to practice all mass gathering and social distancing guidelines.
