David W. LaRoche, 59, of Milan, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020, at Fisher Titus Medical Center. He was born to the late Cleo “Leo” and Alberta R. “Birdie” (Walter) LaRoche on June 8, 1961 in Norwalk, Ohio and was a lifelong area resident. He graduated from St. Paul High School and was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Norwalk, Ohio.
Dave served his country in the United States Air Force and he was the former Commander of the Sons of the American Legion Post # 41 in Norwalk, Ohio. He was employed by Berry Global, Inc, formerly known as Berry Plastics in Monroeville, Ohio.
Dave was an amazing husband and a great father (Poppy). Those who knew him best, knew that he was very funny, liked to tell jokes, and a very smart man. He enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns, Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Indians and Cavaliers, as well as NASCAR and drag racing. He was a private man who loved his Chevy Colorado, but most of all he loved his family, including his siblings.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Renee J. LaRoche of Milan, Ohio, by his daughter Carissa M. (Brett) Olsen of Norwalk, Ohio, and by his grand fur baby, Rosco. Dave is also survived by his siblings, Michael (Beth) LaRoche of Indianapolis, Indiana, Patricia Jackson of Norwalk, Ohio, Cheryl (Craig) Myers of Norwalk, Ohio, Kenneth (Carol) LaRoche of Norwalk, William LaRoche (Michael Beuglass) of Sandusky, Ohio and Mary Jo (Robert) Prohaska of Eastlake, Ohio, and by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Dave is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Mark Jackson in 2004.
