Carolyn A. Smith

Carolyn A. Smith, 78, a lifelong Wellington resident, died December 30, 2020 at Medina Hospital. Born on October 22, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Blaine and Mable (nee Parmentor) Smith.  Carolyn was a graduate of Wellington High School. 

She spent her days caring for her parents. Carolyn attended the Wellington United Methodist Church. Carolyn loved making cookies and helping to plan family get-togethers, reading Soap Opera Digest, TV Guide and watching Cleveland Indians baseball. She also enjoyed genealogy and researching her family tree.  

She is survived by her sister Mary Lou Longacher and many nieces and nephews.  Carolyn was preceded in death by her sisters, Jeanette Smith, Virginia Miller, and Dorothy Mason; brothers, Gale Smith, Ivan Smith and Leroy Smith. 

A memorial service is being planned for a later date. Carolyn will be buried with her parents at Greenwood Cemetery in Wellington. Arrangements were entrusted to Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, Wellington, and condolences may be given at: www.norton-eastmanfuneralhome.com.
