Arlene King Obituary

Arlene A. King, 87, of Norwalk, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020 at Toledo Hospital.  She was born on March 29, 1933 in Norwalk to the late Hugh S. and Adelene F. (Keiner) Arnold.  She was a graduate of St. Paul High School and member of St. Paul Catholic Church her entire life. 

Arlene enjoyed crafts and crocheting. She especially enjoyed making earrings, playing cards and puzzles.  She was a bus driver for many years in Norwalk and had worked at Fisher Titus, in the accounting department at St. Paul, and as curator for St. Paul Catholic Cemetery as well.

Survivors include her sons, Mark (Lori) King of Toledo and Michael (Sue) King of Norwalk; sister in-law, Beth King of Fremont, and Vi Arnold of Norwalk; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Carl King in 2018; their son, Timothy; sisters, Margaret and Marie and brother Vernon. 

There will be no calling hours.  A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main St., Norwalk.  Masks and social distancing and COVID-19 guidelines will be observed in the church.  An inurnment will be held at a later date in St. Paul Catholic Cemetery.  Fr. Eric Schild will officiate the funeral mass.  Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.  Online condolences may be expressed by visiting www.walkereastmanheydingerfh.com
