Anne C. (Strandborg) Perry

Anne C. Perry, 94, of Lake Mary, Florida died Monday, May 17, 2021.  She was born February 24, 1927 in Wellington, Ohio to the late Albert N. and Lila (Hossler) Strandborg.  She was a 1945 graduate of Wellington High School.

She worked at Cleveland Steel during World War II.  After the war, she moved to New London and helped with the family car business at Perry Motor Sales and then 1954, Perry Chevrolet.  The family closed the business in 1995. In 2011, she moved to Cincinnati, Ohio and in 2016 she moved to Lake Mary, FL.

She was a member of the First Methodist Church in New London.  She was a charter member of New London American Legion Auxiliary and the New London Order of Eastern Stars. Anne served on the New London Library Board for many years.

She is survived by her son, Lawrence Perry of Longwood FL; daughter-in-law, Alice Perry of Ft. Worth, TX; six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her husband, Harold H. Perry Jr., a son, Donald H. Perry, her brother, James Strandborg and her sister, Ernestine Biddinger.

Friends may call from 1 to 2 pm on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London, Ohio, where her funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Grove Street Cemetery, New London.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
