Thomas A. Myers, 71, of Collins, died at home on Friday, August 16, 2019. He was born on June 22, 1948 in Sandusky to the late Joseph A. and Betty J. (Matter) Myers.
Tom was a lifetime employee of Tenneco Inc. in Milan, Ohio where he made many great friends. He was a member of the Catholic Knights of Ohio, and the NRA. He enjoyed camping, fishing, bird watching, riding motorcycles, traveling, and collecting knives and guns. Tom had a witty sense of humor and never left people wondering about his political opinions.
He is survived by his son, Jason A. Myers of Findlay, OH; daughter, Jessica L. (Glenn S.) Williamson of Collins; grandchildren, Brianna Myers of Gulf Shores, AL, Lilian Myers of Elmore, OH and Miles, Jase and Stella Myers all of Bloomdale, OH; brothers, Bernie Myers of Bellevue and Rodger Myers of Sandusky; sister, Nancy (Duane) Molnar of Florida; special sister in-laws, Elaine Myers of Norwalk and Karen Prelipp of Norwalk. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who he loved dearly and his companion of 3 years, Roberta “Bobbie” Lynch.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Kathy F. Myers and brothers, Carl L. Myers and James P. Myers.
Friends may call on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 from noon until 3 pm, with a service being held at 3 pm at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St. Norwalk, Ohio.
