Norwalk, Ohio – Lynn E. Ditty “Louie”, 67, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019 in Norwalk Memorial Home, Norwalk, Ohio. He was born on March 7, 1952, to the late Barbara G. (Westgate) and Lyndol R. Ditty in Adrian, Michigan. He moved to the Norwalk area in 1960 and graduated from Norwalk High School in 1971. Lynn worked for Chapin and Chapin, Norwalk, Ohio as a truck driver, he worked for Kreimes Company as a concrete worker and retired in 2016 from Buckeye Construction. Lynn was a member of the F.O.E. Aerie #711, Norwalk, Ohio, V.F.W. Post 2743, Norwalk, Ohio and he was a H.O.G. member. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and he enjoyed being outdoors. He also enjoyed playing euchre, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle on many poker runs and he especially liked riding to several Sturgis Motor Cycle Rallies. Lynn liked watching and supporting NASCAR, the Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees, and Cleveland Indians. He was a family man who held a special place in his heart for his daughter, and granddaughter, he was known by many to work hard and play hard. He is survived by his daughter, Adeline M. (Anthony) Hart of Huron, Ohio, by his granddaughter, Rosemary M. Hart of Huron, Ohio, by is sisters, Pamela M. Esparza of Sandusky, Ohio, and Delight E. Ellis (Terry Ellis) of Bellevue, Ohio and by several nieces and nephews. Lynn is preceded in death by his parents and by his stepfather William R. Smith. Friends may call on Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 in Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St. Norwalk, Ohio 44857. Inurnment will be held privately at a later date.
