James Craig Wylie, 76, of Wellington, died Thursday, January 23, 2020 at home. Born on April 15, 1943 in Mercer Co. PA, he was the son of the late Harry and Leora (nee Craig) Wylie. James grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to Ohio as an adult.
James served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He then began work as a machinist. James was a member of the American Legion as well as the NRA. He enjoyed playing a game of Parcheesi with friends and family and rarely lost. He adored his grandchildren and cherished time spent with them.
Survivors include his children Becky (Ab) Castanedá, of Toledo, and Gary (April) Wylie, of Wellington; grandchildren Bryce, Ramiah, Lelah, Saleh, and Amira; siblings Will, George, and Maureen.
