Beverly Ann Tomsik, 85, of Wellington, died Thursday, October 10, 2019 at home, surrounded by her family. Born on May 10, 1934 in Cleveland, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Inez Pulling. Beverly grew up in Cleveland and later moved to Wellington.
Beverly retired from the Wellington Village Exempted Schools. She was an active member of the Wellington United Methodist Church. Beverly enjoyed painting, and cheering on the Indians and the Browns. She will also be remembered for the delicious meals she prepared for friends and family. Most of all she will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Survivors include her Husband, Milton Tomsik; children, Rebecca Haines, of Summerville, SC, Debra Goss, of Moncks Corner, SC, John Tomsik, of Chesterton, IN, James Tomsik, of Columbia Sation, and Joseph Tomsik, of Wellington; grandchildren, Joshua, Jillian, Seth, Jeffrey, Taylor, Jenna, Jessica, Garrett, and Josie; great grandchildren Lexi, Sherman, Alyssa, Briar, Jaycee, Carson, Coey, Gabryella, and Jaxson; sisters, Mariana Finohr, of Strongsville, and Jeanne Miller, of Cleveland; brothers, George Pulling, of Burton, Willard “Bum” Pulling, of Euclid, Charles Pulling, of Middleburg Heights, Arthur “Butch” Pulling, of Cleveland, and James Pulling, of Euclid. Beverly was preceded in death by sisters, Laura Pulling, and Harriett Forkapa; brothers, Mario Pulling and Kenneth Pulling; and granddaughter Joslyn.
Friends and family will be received on Saturday, October 19, from 1-3 p.m. at the Wellington First United Methodist Church, 127 Park Place, Wellington, 44090, with services beginning at 3 p.m. Rev Paul Willson will officiate. Burial will take place at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
