Arlene A. Moll (86) of Willard went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at her daughter’s home in Grand Rapids, MI. Arlene was born September 9, 1933 in Willard to the late Ben and Dena VanZoest. She was a Registered Nurse. Arlene retired from Mercy Hospital of Willard after 43 years. Nursing was her life's passion as she cared for people throughout the community. She was a member of the Willard Christian Reformed Church. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and watching their sporting events and other activities. Hosting her 80+ family members each Thanksgiving was a highlight of each year.
Arlene is survived by her 2 daughters: Mary Ann (Dave) Kline and Martha (Mike) Zietse, both of Grand Rapids, MI, 4 Grandchildren: Kelly (Don) Buist, Kate (Dave) Nykerk, Kristi Zietse and Molly (Joe) Schierbeek, 6 Great Grandchildren: Alison, Jenna and Joshua Buist and Madison, Camden, and Ellery Landheer, 1 brother: Fred (Carol) VanZoest of Grand Rapids and Sister: Anne (Bob) Lenters of Chicago and sister in Law: Susan VanZoest of Celeryville along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Roger A. Moll on March 25, 2019, 2 Brothers: Bill and Herman VanZoest and sister: Janet Wiers.
There will be an open house visitation for Michigan family and friends on Monday September 23, 2019 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the Plymouth Heights CRC.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday September 30, 2019 at the Willard Christian Reformed Church, 4180 St. Rt. 103 South, Willard with Pastors Jonathan Elgersma, Kelly Buist and Bruce Vaandrager officiating. Friends may call Sunday September 29, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Celeryville Christian School, Willard Christian Reformed Church, or Kiwanis Ohio District through the Eastman Funeral Home, 49 W.
