Norwalk, Ohio – Sharon A. “Sherri” (Bauman) Charville, 72, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018 in Gaymont Nursing Center, Norwalk, Ohio. She was born June 17, 1945 in Sandusky, Ohio, to the late John D. and Anna Mae (Pflieger) Bauman, Sr., and was a lifelong area resident.
Sherri was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She was a respiratory therapist at Fisher Titus Medical Center, where she had also worked in the billing department. Sherri was also a former employee of Blue Cross and Blue Shield Insurance Company, the billing department of Providence Hospital in Sandusky, Ohio, and retired from NOMS Healthcare in 2007. She was the 4-H advisor for the Huron County Hare Raisers, and enjoyed raising farm animals.
Sherri enjoyed quilting, NASCAR, watching professional basketball, and was an avid Michigan Wolverines fan. She was a full-time caregiver for her grandchildren who will miss her gentle, loving, care.
Sherri is survived by her children, Carolyn Charville of Norwalk, Ohio, Jeffrey (Chris) Charville of Yorktown, Virginia, and Cathy (Wayne) Bolton of Norwalk, Ohio, by her grandchildren, Courtnee, Lynsie, Michael (Stephanie) Grace, and Lincoln, and by three great grandchildren, McKenna, Madison, and Charlotte. She is also survived by her siblings, Neil K. (Marcia) Robinson, of Norwalk, Ohio, Kenneth (Linda) Robinson of Milford, New Hampshire, Michael (Theresa) Robinson of Norwalk, Ohio, and Sue Schindley of Perrysburg, Ohio.
Sherri was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Charville in 1990.
Friends and family are asked to wear their favorite Ohio State or Michigan garb to visitation on Monday, March 5, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 East Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. Kenneth Morman will officiate.
